ENG Jole is a philosophy undergraduate at Occidental College. They are primarily interested in the philosophy of language, naming, semantics & pragmatics, sociolinguistics, Japanese literature, language, and culture, and metaphilosophy & metalinguistics.
They have presented at the Southern California Conferences for Undergraduate Research, the Southern California Undergraduate Linguistics Conference at the University of California, Los Angeles, the 3rd Annual Asterisk Trans* Conference at the University of California, Riverside & the 4th Annual Asterisk Trans* Conference at Occidental College, and the Pacific University Undergraduate Philosophy Conference. They also served on the planning committee for the 4th Annual Asterisk* Trans Conference.
